Winter Grazing mixtures
These diverse mixtures are well suited for grazing in the winter rainfall regions of South Africa.
Early establishment in optimal conditions can provide good winter and spring production.
The component in the mixture include Paraggio medic, Cavalier medic, Subteranean clover and Balansa clover. Paraggio has the capability to grow in soils with a pH of 5.5+. It has a a spikey hard coated seed.
Cavalier can grow in soils with a pH as low as 5.0 and thus it is widely adaptable across many soil types. Cavalier has smooth seed.
The Subteranean clovers produce early winter and spring.
