Crimson Clover (Inkarnaatklawer)

Characteristics:

  • An annual clover used for grazing and hay production as well as green manuring.
  • The seed can vary from 30 to 70% hard coated depending on the conditions during seed production.

Blaza:

  • Mid season maturity – approx 122 days to flowering,
  • Shows good early vigour,
  • Produces large red flowers through spring,
  • Offers excellent winter and early spring production,
  • Adapted to a large range of soil types, especially lighter soils,
  • Suitable for grazing, fodder, green manure and HDL mixes,
  • Excellent pioneering plant, especially on acid soils.

Rokali:

  • Early high yielding variety of crimson clover,
  • Develops very quickly after sowing compared to the widely used varieties,
  • Very suitable for cover crop mixtures,
  • Very quick development after sowing,
  • Very fast establishment and cover,
  • Suitable for grazing, fodder, green manure and HDL mixes,
  • Use as cover crop or forage species.
