This cultivar is well known for its excellent yield stability at all yield potentials. It is one of the cultivars with the highest long-term average yields in the ARC trials and was the overall winner in the 2020 Grow for Gold National Yield Competition. It holds the competition record of 4,4 tons per hectare.

AGSUN 8251 possesses the stay-green trait which significantly increases the cultivar’s resistance to lodging diseases. When it comes to long-term stability and disease resistance, this cultivar is in a class of its own.

This medium-late mature hybrid is known for its excellent yield stability and oil yield, and is recommended as a part of the producer’s main planting. The cultivar shows good uniformity and damage from birds is limited due to an effective head inclination. AGSUN 5270 is highly suitable for early and late plantings and handles disease pressure very effectively. A top performer in the ARC trials.
